Forough Farrokhzad, Iran's Famous Poet PDF Print E-mail

Image Forough Farokhzad, a famous Iranian women poet, died on February 14, 1967 in a car accident in the streets of Marvdasht and Loqumanoddowleh in Darrus at the age of 32. Her poetry albums include Asir (The Captive) 1955- Divar (The Wall) 1956 - Esian (Rebellion) 1958 – Tavallodi Digar (Another Birth) 1964 and also a documentary film, "The House Is Black" Documentary 1962.

Forough Farrokhzad's 40th anniversary memorial observance was held in Tehran on February 12, 2007
