A panel of speakers talked about Islamic fundamentalism and the treatment of women, focusing on Iran. Topics included human rights violations of women and girls by the fundamentalist regime in Iran, the need for democracies to speak out for these women. Speakers detailed the abuses, including human trafficking.

At the beginning of the forum a documentary was shown, “Illusion or Reality?,” containing images of human rights abuses of women in Iran. The program ended with a 45-minute videotaped speech by Iranian resistance leader Maryam Rajavi.
